Simon and Sarah Thomas, designers and owners of The London Garden Design Company exhibited and won a medal for their 'chic' show garden "Less is Moor" at the 2006 RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
In this garden we displayed an installation of contemporary hand-blown glass sculptures which we designed and commissioned ourselves (pictured above). We were inundated with requests from an enthusiastic public to purchase these pieces, and were quick to see an opportunity to market a range of affordable and unique sculptures to enable everyone to enjoy a taste of a Chelsea Show Garden for themselves.

In the Summer of 2007, we took a stand at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, successfully selling our first collection the 'glass tulip'. This was based on our original design; a range of jewel-like hand blown glass flowers which can be bought singly or collected over time to create your own unique art installation.

The business grew and grew into what is now The London Garden Trading Company, where the product range has grown into a collection of unique and stylish garden ornaments sourced from all over the world. All our products are exclusive to us and we take great pride in bringing you new and exciting products every year, lovingly displayed in a floral border in our garden at the RHS Flower Shows
