Pack of 3 Gaudinoue Air Vases

Details

This set of 3 cool Air Vases designed in Japan comes as flat discs with perforations that allow the vase to be stretched into different shapes.

With different colours on each side, the vases appear to change colour when viewed from various angles.

You can freely change its shape by molding it into a dish, a small bowl or a vase according to the intended usage.

The paper is thin and light but when expanded is rigid and strong enough to stand alone yet allows it to be folded compactly when not in use.

An excellent and quirky housewarming gift.

The vases come in a pack of 3 with a different design on each vase. The photo shows the 6 alternative designs depending on which side of the vase is the outside.

These commemorative airvases were created to mark the special exhibition 'Takehiko Inoue interprets Gaudi's Universe' in July 14.
